The holidays are filled with great wonder and excitement. Between lights and décor, music and
togetherness, holidays warm your heart and fill your days with joy. This year I have told my extended family and kids that we are minimizing the zillion presents under the tree for more activities that we share together. What better way to share togetherness than exploring a new destination. Here is a list of locations that are perfect for the holiday season, without giving up the traditions.
Ski Resorts
What speaks more to the holiday spirit than being bundled up by the fire place drinking hot chocolate? Ski resorts are picture perfect for the holiday season. With the fresh now, chill in the air and beautiful resorts, how can it get more ideal? No matter what resort you choose, there is going to be some magic in the air. Whistler has its famous Whistler Holiday Experience with a Fire and Ice Show. Sun Valley literally turns into a Winter Wonderland. Tahoe takes their guests on horse-drawn sleigh rides throughout the town. And you just might even find Santa on the slopes in Park City.
New York
This big city is a great place to go for Christmas. We are all familiar with New York during Christmas in the numerous movies that display the magic and possibilities that happen in the Big Apple. The lighted tree in Rockefeller Center and the beautiful storefront decorations along Fifth Avenue puts everyone in the holiday spirit. The Thanksgiving Day Parade, Broadway Shows, ice skating in Central Park, the Holiday Train Show all tell us the holidays are here. Let’s not forget the amazing food from this wonderful melting pot.
