Incentive Trips

It is hard to believe that 2017 has come to an end. As in every year, it is a time for reflection and celebration. It is also a time to show gratitude for those that make the magic happen. You may have seen that I have won an award in sales from Sandals and Beaches resorts. I am so honored to have won but it wasn’t just me that got me there. I have a team of representatives supporting me in the field, I have fantastic resources here in the community, I have loyal clients and I have an amazing mentor that has helped me grow in my career. I am so grateful.

I am sure that you, too, have people that are helping you get to where you want to be. I know that this is common because I have been busy booking incentive trips. Managers have been contacting me with great gratitude for their employees and feel that they earned a trip to Jamaica, Florida, or Las Vegas. If you are feeling grateful for your staff, check out some of the common places I’ve been sending my clients to celebrate their success.

Gift Certificate
An easy way that I have set up incentive trips for businesses is by providing a gift certificate to be awarded to employees who have met their goals and made an influence on the company. This is a way for the business to allow the recipient to pick where they want to go yet contribute a specific dollar amount to the destination.

Team “Meeting”
Another method is a group incentive trip. Many of us work as team and rely on each member to perform our own duties to their fullest. Booking a group at a resort or on a cruise allows the team to continue to unite but in a more laid back, festive environment. You will see a lot of smiles and laughter on this trip as your staff grows their morale and becomes energized to return to work, creating more profits for your business.

Where to Go?
There are great spots all over. Some of my most popular U.S. locations are Florida for their warm weather, Las Vegas for their flair or Arizona for their wonderful resorts. However, all-inclusive resorts tend to get more attention as it ensures that the tab is covered by the company and the employee can rest at ease without the discomfort of surprise added costs. Many resorts offer complementary golfing, meeting space and private dinners if you are looking for a place to cover a little business on the trip.

Of course, don’t forget about taking your team on a cruise. Cruises are another great option as there are so many destinations and ships to choose from. A warm weather sail through the Caribbean is perfect for many of us. An Alaskan cruise, however, would be impressive. If you feel your team deserves a little more, river cruising through Europe would be a trip of a life time and you would be rated number one boss for years to come.
